Hard to believe, but it’s already been a year since I started this blog! I want to thank all of you who have been reading since I started. If you’ve been following since the start, your loyalty is important and I’m incredibly grateful for all of your kind words. If this is somehow your first post you’ve seen here, welcome! Take a look at the back catalogue. Hopefully, I’ll be more consistent in 2017, with more retrospective reviews, lists and essay format articles to break up the regular reviews on here. In any event, you’ll still be able to catch me via Horror News Radio and Gruesome Magazine when I’m not writing here.
In the coming weeks, expect my big Top 20 list for 2016 and a few final reviews from the year. In terms of looking back, I’ll say the review that I’m most proud of from this past year would definitely be Nine Lives, which you can catch read here if you haven’t.
I’ve stated this plenty of times via social media, but I will be heading to Dragon Con this weekend! I’m not just an observer, though. I’ll also be doing panels under the Horror Track along with the co-hosts of my various podcasts Doc Rotten, Santos Ellin Jr, Christopher G. Moore and Bill Mulligan! We’ll be doing panels on everything from Phantom of the Paradise to the 20th anniversary of Scream! For a full list of the panels, click here.
Hello, all! This is my blog and I am Thomas Mariani, a writer/blogger/podcaster for a variety of sites. I mainly deal with film and television related content at the moment, but I plan on expanding my horizons. I’ll reblog stuff that I’ve done for other sites, but also feature any individual reviews or editorials I see fit here. Keep in mind this is still a work in progress site and likely to change within the first few months of the new year. Think new layouts, new designs, even the title may change… though I’m a fan of Marianiment myself as of this publishing. But the content will be regular. *knocks on wood*
